At Take United, we are currently looking for BI Developers to be part of our e-SiTES product team.

Responsibilities

• Designing, Developing and Deploying reports using Business Intelligence Technologies of Microsoft  

• Work with stakeholders to design appropriate BI dashboards, scorecards, charts \ graphs, drill-downs, drill through, sub reports and dynamic reports to meet information needs.
• Translate stakeholder deliverables into the project methodology deliverables that result in design, such as functional specifications, use cases, work flow \ process diagrams, data flow \ data model diagrams.
• Development of logical and physical data models for designing/developing Business Intelligence \ Data Warehouse requirements.
• Performs table and interface design, development of logical and physical data model/database, ETL processes, BI reporting/OLAP cubes/OLAP reporting and population and tuning of databases/ETL processes/BI reports/queries while meeting business/user requirements.
• Design and analyse reports using SSRS, SSIS and SSAS.
• Design the architecture, Data warehouse, data marts and BI reports which will support various data initiatives.
• Developing custom reports using MDX
• ETL design, development, support of reporting tools and processes
• Integration of BI reports with C#/VB.net assemblies
• Apply role based access of the reports. Integrating active directory with cube based Reports.
• Design and develop extremely reliable, scalable and high performing reports
• Ensure quality of the code using code quality tools and frequent code reviews
• Deploy BI reports. 
• Gather Software Requirements  
• Participate in regular requirement gathering with onsite and customer team
• Develop iterative prototypes based on requirements
• Contribute to architecture design and discussions 
• Owning Delivery of fast paced (e.g. monthly releases) project for Product Groups  
• Helping define the requirements and feature sets including by
• Regular collaboration with onsite teams through daily phone conference calls
• Iterative prototyping
• Project planning and tracking
• Application development and technical code reviews
• Cross team coordination for project delivery 
• Coordinate with the Testing Team  
• Implement bug fixes
• Knowledge sharing sessions with test team

Programmer .NET

(Selangor - Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities:

• Develop moderately complex programs with minimum guidance, accordingly to technical / program specifications and application standards
• Test program, report on results and ensure that necessary program changes are implemented and documented, assist with user trials and acceptance testing
• Support users during implementation
• Write programming specifications for simple to moderately complex projects, and user guides

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Science & Technology or equivalent.
• Required skill(s): MS SQL Server, ASP.NET.
• At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya.
• Preferably specializing in IT/Computer - Software or equivalent.

Senior .Net Developers
 

Essential skills:

• Proven history in developing complex systems using the entire Microsoft .Net platform
• Ability to document and scope business requirements, functional and technical specifications
• Excellent knowledge of Visual Studio 2010
• Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
• A team player and experienced at working in multi-discipline teams
• Ability to plan, manage your own workload and meet deadlines
• Flexible and positive approach to work
• Actively contributes to all-agency meetings, knowledge sharing, training, brainstorms etc

Technical skills:

• Solid understanding Object-oriented programming (OOP) and computer science foundations, such as memory management and low-level algorithm performance.
• Deep knowledge in .Net 3.5/4.0 Framework, including Visual Studion 2010, VB.Net, ASP.Net windows services, scheduled tasks and ADO.NET.
• IIS 6/7 – creating sites, application pool segmentation, FTP, privileges and SSL configuration.
• SQL, MSSQL 2008 and MSSQL server profiler.
• XSLT/XPath/XQuery.
• Strong knowledge of Software Implementation Best Practices.
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment.
• Candidate should be self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
• Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices while leading and monitoring a team of developers.

Nice to have: 

• HTML/CSS inc. accessibility, W3C compliance, cross-browser compatibility.
• JavaScript (e.g. troubleshooting Jquery) and AJAX.
• Experience building mobile apps.
• Experience in Microsoft Business Intelligence in creating the Data Warehouse and OLAP Cubes.
